My Get Clean Story

I have been married to my college sweetheart for almost 10 years.  I am a stay at home mom to three children ages 4, 2 and 1.  I was thrown into mommy-hood very quickly and we hit the ground running!  I have always loved to clean and organize.  I can remember being a little girl and redoing my closet and my friends closets!  I grew up with a mom who loved to clean.  I can remember the smell of soft scrub and cleaners and just knowing that meant our home was clean and disinfected.  Of course, when I became a wife I bought the same products and began the same "clean" living.  However, education is power and I started paying attention to the dangers and poisons of regular household cleaners.  I was appalled!  My children were breathing in these chemicals and in some cases eating the chemicals (toys in mouth).  So I started to purge the old cleaners one by one.  I tried baking soda mixes, vinegar washes, Seventh Generation, Method and so on.  I wasn't thrilled with the outcome of any of the products and I was really discouraged.  I felt like I was spending so much money and having to use so much product and nothing was working that well.  Then I came across Shaklee.  After reading testimonials, I decided to buy the starter kit.  I fell in love right away and I have been a huge fan ever since!
